Hello everyone! This is a 4 frequency geodesic dome glasshouse with a 5 meter diameter. The reason why it is only 5 meter diameter is because in most countries you do not need a permit to build structures with a diameter of 5 meters or less. The space provides just about 20 square meters of growing space for food during the winter. This is enough using bio-intensive permaculture technology to provide 10-20% of your food during the winter. You can insulate the north side and double glaze your windows to the south to increase solar gain into the structure. All measurements are intact within the SketchUp file and can be sent to anyone who would like to build it. This is a full-scale model that can provide reference for you to set up a jig and cut your lumber quick and easy. The diamond door frame must also be angle cut on a jig to allow free entry into the space.
